From the Sixth Doctor quote, from the Serial Revelation of the Daleks(and the only Sixth Doctor one I've seen!) I love this quote, mainly because...well, think of it this way.
Smith and Jones, the episode immediately after Rose is torn away from him(The Runaway Bride doesn't count because he never had a chance to change his clothes) he suddenly dons a blue suit out of the blue for the first time!(no pun intended!) Hmm...
Rose shows up in series 4 not only in a leather jacket(befitting her first Doctor) but it's blue!! Look at that! Suppose the Doctor took her to Necros too?(I doubt it, but one can dream lol) So it really fits. Plus the TARDIS is blue too! lol Enjoy!

That's an interesting observation, I wonder if The Doctor wore blue after Amy and Rory died as well, I can't remember (it just kind fast forwarded his grief with them for some reason.)
